  • Are there any assessments taken prior to tutoring?

No, we request current progress reports, and or report cards. However if needed we can provide a grade level based assessment as a current measure of a students’ academic progress. *Available upon request.

Are learning materials supplied by ECD?

We highly suggest that the student brings her or her own learning materials and or books to the session. *If requested and approved by the parent/guardian, we can provide materials which complement what the student is learning. We can also direct you to other curriculum and or educational based resources, via internet, learning programs, etc… We do not provide a curriculum.

    How much is each session?

Our rates are competitive, yet affordable. Not only do we offer individual rates, but we offer a package rate as well.

Getting Started with ECD! In-Home Tutoring Services is easy!

Call Educational Concepts Development and the Director will take it from there. The Director will ask you a few questions and tell you more about the tutoring program. Feel free to ask as many questions as necessary - we are always happy to address any concerns you may have.

After the initial phone call, the Director will schedule a time to meet with you and your child, at your convenience, in your home, where a more detailed assessment is taken, goals are set and a tutoring plan of action begins to take shape.

Next, the Director will assign your child a tutor who both meets your child's academic needs and complements your child's personality type. The tutor will contact you directly and schedule each tutoring session at a time most convenient to you.
